Product Details

Here are the samples that I used in the video "Use These Samples on a Wedding Gig" and are from my very own SPD-SX!

I use these as my 'go-to' samples for pretty much every gig. These are the foundation I use to build the rest of the patches I need.

When you download this, you'll get two things:

- Individual Samples in .WAV, 16bit format to import to any module of your choice
- A fold named 'Roland' which is the SPD-SX patch

How to load the patch onto the SPD-SX

1. Get an empty USB stick compatible for the SPD-SX

2. Drag the 'Roland' folder onto a USB-stick compatible with the SPD-SX.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT move any of the folders or the backup file. The SPD-SX needs to read the folder structure in order to load.

3. Plug in the USB stick into your SPD-SX

4. Go to Menu -> UTL -> LOAD(USB MEM) -> Kit+Settings

Troubleshooting

If the SPD-SX Says 'No Memory'
This means the SPD-SX cannot read the USB stick. Make sure it's in MS-DOS(FAT32)

If the SPD-SX Says 'No File'
This usually happens when something in the folder is moved. Make sure you drag the 'Roland' folder onto the USB stick and not just the backup file.
If it still says 'no file' and you're doing all things right, try saving any kit on the SPD-SX by going to Menu -> UTL -> SAVE(USB MEM) -> Kit+Settings.
Once it's created the files, replace the backup it's created with the file downloaded on here. The file is in Roland -> SPD-SX -> Backup -> Drum_Elc Kit. Keep the folder structure the SPD-SX created as this is what it's reading to load the file.
